In six year's time, a cat and her offspring can
produce 420,000 kittens.
In that same six years, a dog and her young can
produce 67,000 puppies.
In 2004, 6 out of 10 animals brought to the
Washington County Animal Shelter were euthanized,
and most of these were simply due to pet overpopulation!
The only viable way to stop the killing of healthy,
adoptable pets is controlling pet overpopulation
through spaying and neutering.
Be a part of the solution: spay or neuter your pets.
If you are a resident of Washington County , TN ,
and you need financial aid for the spaying or neutering
of your pet, call the Washington County Humane Society
at 926-8533. We want to help you be part of the solution!!!
